Acer introduced Android-tablet Iconia One Iconia Tab 8 and 10 and a budget Chromebooks – Overclockers.ru

This week at a press conference in New York, Acer unveiled a range of new products. These included two new tablet – Acer Iconia One 8 (B1-820) and Iconia Tab 10 (A3-A30). One of them is aimed at the budget end of the market, and the other is focused exclusively on the use for educational purposes.

 

Acer Iconia One 8 (B1-820) is a budget tablet, complete with 8-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It is based on lay quad-core processor Intel Atom, who, along with Android 5.0 Lollipop should provide sufficient performance, especially for a budget device. Storage allocated internal drive 16 or 32 GB and up to 8.5 hours of battery life tablet will provide battery, the capacity of which is not specified.

 
 

As for the Acer Iconia Tab 10 (A3-A30), it is aimed primarily at educational institutions and joined the ecosystem Google Education. It has a large 10.1-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, quad-core Intel Atom processor with 2 GB of RAM. Available options are three models with different amount of internal memory: 16, 32 and 64 GB. The operating system installed Android 5.0 Lollipop.

 
 

Acer Iconia One 8 will go on sale in North America in July at a price of $ 145, and in the region EMEA, which includes Europe, Middle East and Africa, it will be available in April and will be available there for € 179. Also, Acer introduced a new 15.6-inch budget laptop on the cloud Chrome OS. It is characterized by long battery life and low price.
