Operating System Android Lollipop strengthens – 3DNews

Published statistics on the distribution of the various versions of the Android operating system as of March 2, 2015.

Jelly Bean remains the most common mobile platform Google. Version 4.1.x occupy approximately 17.3% of the market, yet 19.4% is 4.2.x. Plus, the 5.9% held family of operating systems 4.3. Thus, in general, the Jelly Bean accounts for almost 43% of the market.

The second highest prevalence is Android 4.4 KitKat with 40,9%.

The latest operating system 5.0 Lollipop now being used by 3.3% of smartphones and tablets running Android. This is two times more than the previous month.

Approximately 6.9% of operating systems hold the line Android Gingerbread (version 2.3.3-2.3.7). On Android Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.3-4.0.4) falls 5.9% on Android 2.2 Froyo – 0,4%.
