Despite a tacit agreement not to disclose the schedule release of updates for Android-powered smartphones, the French telecom operator SFR reported that smartphones Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3 will receive Android 4.4 KitKat at the end of January next year.
Note 3 for the new version of the operating system may be a little delayed – likely fablet get the update in early February. Apparently, this is due to non-standard screen size canopy and features proprietary interface Samsung, which offers some unique features specifically for Note 3. More exact timing has not yet called SFR.
Representatives of the French operator said that their department, is responsible for updating the software subscriber devices has not yet received a final schedule of Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone Samsung. Most likely, the date named SFR, will be for European owners Galaxy S4 and Note 3 sufficiently accurate.
Certainly in Russia for Android 4.4 KitKat aforementioned smartphones appear around this time. But buyers Galaxy S4 and Note 3 in the U.S. will be updated later. Due to the nature of U.S. operators, local subscribers will receive Android 4.4 KitKat about a month later.
