Yesterday Google released the first update for Android M. In this assembly there are a few new features.
Setting the status bar
The new system application Sistem UI Tuner, you can choose which icons will be displayed in the status bar, and which will disappear. The “demo mode” there are only three icons: Cellular Communications, 100% full battery and the clock is always set at 5:20. This mode is intended for developers who will prepare screenshots or video reviews their applications – the status bar will not distract the attention of users on unnecessary details.
Landscape mode on smartphones
The standard Android M launcher now supports the work in ladshaftnoy orientation not only tablets, but also on smartphones.

On selection of applications lost alphabetical divider instead search button is now always shown an open search string. List was vertical, rather than by page, as in previous versions of Android. The select list widget also flipping vertically.
Rapid removal of screenshots
Just make a screenshot you can now quickly remove – through a new option in the curtain notifications. There is available a button to send the screen shot in the social network, or by mail, but it was in the previous preview version of Android M. These buttons are only visible, if you pull down the notification, by default they are hidden. The file is deleted from the local memory, but it remains in the cloud, if managed to survive.
The control of RAM
The application Memory, intended to control the consumption of RAM, the new home page. It shows the total amount of RAM used on average per day, half day, 6:00 or 3:00.

The page displays the memory usage of individual applications, is preserved, but it no longer shows the average and maximum values of consumption, and provides specific numbers. You can also select the statistics for some time.

On specific application, you can see how much memory it consumes on average and at maximum load.
