Smart Watch Samsung Gear S3 compatible with Android-smartphone and iPhone – Overclockers.ru

Asus ZenWatch 3, of which we have been told, are not the only smart watches, presented within IFA 2016 in Berlin. The South Korean company Samsung has also brought with them at the IFA 2016 smart watch Gear S3.
 


 

On the eve of the official start of IFA 2016, Samsung announced the Gear S3 smart watch with Tizen operating system on board. They are available in two versions: Gear S3 classic and Gear S3 frontier. They differ from each other only by the fact that the model is supplemented by Frontier rubber strap.


 

 

Watch Samsung Gear S3 equipped with a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED display round, able to display 16 million colors, while the display Gear S2 cover only 8 million colors. The screen has a resolution 360h360 pixels (278ppi) and covered with a protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass SR +. Hours are based on the same dual-core 1 GHz processor as Gear S2. They are also equipped with 768 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal memory and has support for Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS. A Gear S3 frontier will be available in a version with 3G and LTE.


 

 

Work Samsung Gear S3 running OS Tizen Wearable Platform 2.3.2 and compatible with any Android-smartphone on Android 4.4.4 and higher and 1.5 GB of RAM. Samsung representatives also confirmed that the new smart watches will also get iPhone support.


 

 

Samsung Gear S3 clad in stainless steel housing and protected against the ingress of moisture and dust in accordance with IP68 standard. Clock Gear S3 frontier will be available only in black color scheme and with a rubber strap, while the classical model dressed in a silver casing and is equipped with a leather strap.


 

Home sales Samsung Gear S3 is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2016. In Europe, the recommended retail price of Gear S3 classic and Gear S3 frontier will be 399 euros.
