largest research agency International Data Corporation (IDC), has reported that the first tablet on the Android overtook Apple iPad. According to IDC, in the first quarter of 2013, the market was supplied only 49.2 million tablets, with 27.8 million of them were running the Android OS, and running iOS – only 19.5 million units.
The Android platform is developing at an unprecedented rate – annual supply growth plates on OSes that was 247.5%. IOS share of slightly increased by only 65,3%.
However, the impressive figures show Windows – growth of 700% in the tablets. In absolute terms, this means only 1.6 million PCs sold in the first three months of this year.
Android shows good growth, but gigemoniyu Apple is not easy to press, it is too big player in the market.
summer should see a new version of the iPad mini with a Retina-display, which should significantly increase the sales of apple tablet.
