After several years of development, Google has released a development environment Android Studio 1.0.
As the programmer is not difficult for me to highlight the most interesting for software developers, so concentrate on the possibilities of Android Studio 1.0, understandable even to me.
Studio allows you to develop one and the same application in parallel for several types of devices: Android smartphones, tablets, Android Wear, Android TV, Android Auto and Google Glass.
During installation, Studio automatically sets tuned and optimized emulator with presets for different devices. The emulator allows you to quickly check how the application will look and work on a specific device with a given screen size and resolution.
Studio also allows you to conveniently compiled APK files with different functionality from one project to create multiple versions of applications with different capabilities.
Also, Android Studio 1.0 has finished drafts for different kinds of applications and integration with GitHub.
Android Studio 1.0 is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.
