Samsung introduced the Galaxy NX - the first system camera with Android and LTE - 3DNews

Korean company Samsung announced at the last presentation of a very interesting product: Galaxy NX camera with interchangeable lenses. This device is unique in comparison with the rest of the line Samsung NX because it operates under the control of the Google Android platform along the lines of tsifrokompakt Galaxy Camera and Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Galaxy NX looks like the previous model series Samsung NX. The device is an unusual hybrid of a smartphone and camera NX20: it is equipped with an impressive 4.8-inch touch screen HD-, 1.6-GHz 4-core processor (as well as a special processor for shooting), 20.3-megapixel APS-format photosensor C and runs on Android 4.2.2. As befits a cell line of NX, and supports installation of the park optics Samsung, including the new 3D-lens.

Talking about the specifications should also mention the built-in 16 GB flash drive, support for cards microSD, 2GB of RAM and a digital viewfinder with a resolution of SVGA. Galaxy NX is also equipped with a wireless connection Wi-Fi, and even LTE, which allows you to upload photos to social networks or any other online service almost anywhere.

Galaxy NX can shoot 1080p video at 24 or 50 frames / s, the speed of shooting full-size images can be up to 8.6 frames / s, performance excerpts start with 1/6000 second and ISO sensitivity can be set to a value up to 25,600. The camera is equipped with a battery capacity of 4360 mAh, but Samsung does not disclose exactly how many photos will make the unit on a single charge on a standard metric (I think, much less than similar system cameras that do not need to “feed” a powerful processor and a full-fledged mobile OS).

From the software point of view, Galaxy NX has received more than 30 “smart” mode to simplify the process of shooting a novice photographer, a special regime for the professionals, and the interface is very similar to Galaxy S4. Of course, thanks to Android, the owner of the device can use all the advantages available on the platform of Google apps, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.

Samsung has not yet reported the issuance or the expected value of the product, but judging by the price range of other devices, the price of Galaxy NX at the time should be at about $ 1,000, complete with a standard lens.
