BBC released a weather application for iOS and Android - 3DNews

British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has announced the release of its first weather apps for iOS and Android. The name of the application has a quite trivial – BBC Weather. In the Air Force claim that their application provides accurate and “deep” weather forecast.

Overall, BBC Weather is not much different from other similar applications. So, when you first start the user’s location is determined automatically, the user will have access to hourly weather review to date, as well as the five-day forecast. In addition, BBC Weather gives access to information on UV radiation, wind speed and humidity.

Android users will be able to install the widget on the home screen, iOS users have no such chance. In addition, BBC Weather can use the technology NFC, in particular, the owners of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be able to convey the weather forecast by simply touching another Galaxy S4. The application is available for download free of charge to see if it is on other platforms, is not known.
