IFA 2014: Smartphone for lovers self HTC Desire will receive 820 OS Android L – 3DNews

The company HTC has not cheated their attention the IFA 2014, taking place in the German capital. Under this activity, the Taiwanese manufacturer announced mid-level smartphone HTC Desire 820 is running a 64-bit chip.

We are talking about the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939), using eight cores Cortex-A53, half of which operates at a clock frequency of 1.0 GHz, and the remaining – 1.5 GHz. This processor is equipped with Adreno 405 graphics, network support 4G LTE Cat 4 (up to 150 Mbit / s) and a 64-bit instruction set, which will allow the phone running OS Android L. While in the program is based on a version of Android 4.4 KitKat with user interface HTC Sense 6.

5,5-inch display trends characterized by a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. The device will attract lovers of self, because there is installed an 8-megapixel front camera (capable of recording video in Full HD), supplemented by a number of branded photographic features such as Live Makeup, Photo Booth and Zoe Highlights. 13-megapixel main camera has aperture f / 2.2 and BSI-sensor.

The physical dimensions of the product are 157,7 × 78,74 × 7,74 mm, weight – 155 grams. Smartphone is presented in 9 different body colors. In the future there will be a version with two slots for SIM-cards.

Home sales model HTC Desire 820 will be given at the end of September. The price of the new smartphone the Taiwanese company is not voiced.
