Demonstration of Android L on Samsung Galaxy S5 (video) – Mobiltelefon.Ru

Google completes the preparatory part to the release of a new version of its mobile operating system. Android L was introduced in June, but is still available only to a narrow range of developers, while the official release will take place this month. At the same time, the web appeared screenshots and even a video of a fully functioning firmware for Samsung Galaxy S5 based on Android L. By the way, the source confirms the information that the OS will be called Lollipop (Lollipop). It should be noted that the firmware quite crude and contains many errors. For this reason, ROM was not fused to the network. Assessment of performance testers also do not give the same reason. Distribution is quite slow, even despite the fact that the runtime is now the main ART.

The design of the shell TouchWiz received no major changes compared to Android KitKat. Embedded Google Material Design has not received its menu display. The changes affected some applications, however, and to evaluate them will not work – animation does not work. And changed the lock screen – now it shows the notification for which to sacrifice widgets. On this and many other things can be learned from the video:

Recall massive upgrade to Android L will begin in December. As usual, Samsung will get in the first wave.
